Only 2 Weeks Left to Apply for Women in Philanthropy’s 2022 Grant Cycle!

Women in Philanthropy is accepting applications for its 2022 grant cycle until March 18, 2022.

In line with our mission to help women, girls, and their families in Northeastern Pennsylvania, we are accepting applications via the Scranton Area Community Foundation’s online grant portal.

Grant requests must cover projects in one or more of the following focus ideas:

• • Civic Engagement and Advocacy
  • Affordable and Attainable Healthcare
  • Affordable and Quality Childcare
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Financial Confidence
  • STEAM Education

Grant requests will be considered up to $10,000, with an average award of $5,000.

All grants must be used for a charitable purpose and be granted to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Important Deadlines & Procedures

Please note the following deadlines for Women in Philanthropy’s 2022 Grant Cycle:

• Grant Cycle Opens: Tuesday, 3/1/2022
• Grant Applications Due: Friday, 3/18/2022
• After 4/1/2022, SAF will be in touch with applicants if they are selected as finalists. Finalists will then be asked to present at the April WIP quarterly meeting where WIP supporters will vote on the applications they choose to fund.
