Please Join Us for the Spring Women In Philanthropy Quarterly Meeting & Reception

Please join us for the Spring Women in Philanthropy Quarterly Meeting and Reception on Thursday, March 12, 2020, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Century Club of Scranton (612 Jefferson Avenue, Scranton).

This meeting will be held in partnership with Women’s Whistle Stop Scranton. Women in Philanthropy and Women’s Whistle Stop are initiatives that are both working on the important issues of empowering women and girls in our community.

This year is the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment to the U.S. Constitution marking women’s right to vote. Women’s Whistle Stop will share how this event will work to empower women and girls, to provide gender equality education, and to support purposes related to ensuring women’s rights. Furthermore, we will discuss how we will celebrate this historic year with milestone markers both in Scranton and beyond, including a celebratory event at the Steamtown Historic Site on June 20, 2020.

Together, we will celebrate our collaborative efforts to break down barriers for women and girls and will share in the potential of this partnership.
