Women in Philanthropy is now accepting grant applications from 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and educational institutions for its 2023 grant cycle.

Grant requests for the 2023 must cover projects in one or more of the following focus areas:

• Civic Engagement & Advocacy
• Financial Education
• Housing
• Childcare
• Mental Health
• STEAM Education

Applications will be accepted until March 17, 2023, at 5:00 PM. Applications will then be reviewed by a committee. Finalists will have the opportunity to present at the WIP Quarterly Meeting on April 20.

Final grant decisions are made via a vote conducted by Women in Philanthropy supporters. The maximum grant award will be $10,000; the average grant award will be $5,000.

Women in Philanthropy (WIP) aims to engage, empower, and transform the lives of women and girls in our community, and engage supporters in collective decision-making to help move women to levels of personal empowerment and economic self-sufficiency.

These grants will provide support to organizations that are working on innovative projects and/or programs in the identified focus areas that work to transform the lives of women or girls across the Northeastern Pennsylvania region.
