Join us as we honor and celebrate the founders of Women in Philanthropy. Ten years ago, they helped launch the initiative that continues to empower women, girls, and their families in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

This special evening will celebrate their dedication and the incredible impact we’ve made together over the past decade.

In addition to sharing WIP updates, we will honor two dynamic women in our community through the Margaretta Belin Chamberlin Award and the Roseann Smith Alperin Award.

Both awards are presented annually through the support of charitable funds established at the Scranton Area Community Foundation. These charitable funds were established to memorialize a loved one and to honor qualities of leadership and excellence that exist in members of our community.

This year, we honor award recipients Carol Shoener (Margaretta Belin Chamberlin Award) and Marylou Grogan (Roseann Smith Alperin Award).

This event is complimentary for WIP supporters and up to two guests. The general public can attend for $25. Dinner and refreshments will be provided.
